The Region 5 TTAC lending library allows educational personnel the opportunity to use devices, switches, DVDs, software, and books covering disabilities and special education-related topics that help enhance communication, learning, and teaching. Having a trial period offers the chance to explore the usefulness of different materials in different situations.

General Information:
You may request library materials via this web site and items will either be mailed to you or will be available for curbside pick-up. If you have questions about acquiring materials, please contact Ingrid Garcia de Lazo, garciaij@jmu.edu.
 
You may check out up to 5 items and keep them for 3 weeks. Renewal for another 3 weeks is possible. A paid postage label is provided to return items through the mail.

Hours:

Regular Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Summer Hours: Please note over the summer, library hours will vary. If you would like to come by and browse the library over the summer, please contact Ingrid Garcia de Lazo, garciaij@jmu.edu, to make sure a staff member is available to provide assistance.

Parking:  
We have two designated parking spaces for TTAC consumers when you come to visit our library. Call Ingrid to obtain the parking registration link for a virtual permit. Parking is on the small pull-off on Grace Street (corner of S. High St. & Grace St.) Entrance E. Come in Entrance E and take the stairs or the elevator on your left to the third floor (7300 block). Check in with Ingrid, room 7335, on your left.

Keep in mind that if items are lost or damaged, you will be responsible for the cost of replacing them. Assistive technology items are available for school use only.
