“Powerful Collaborations: Science and Special Education Instructors Working Together for Student Success.”

https://vast.wildapricot.org/resources/Documents/p9Newsletter.pdf

The keynote speaker, Dr. Sami Kahn, from Ohio University, is a nationally recognized expert on collaboration and inclusion in the science classroom. She’s bringing a team of higher education colleagues who will collaborate with her on the morning workshop. That workshop will be followed by afternoon breakout sessions led by grade-level range teams (science and special education) who will address practical issues for specific content and Virginia context. This day provides a very special opportunity for teachers who teach in inclusive settings. More information on Dr. Kahn can be accessed at: https://www.ohio.edu/education/faculty-and-staff/profiles.cfm?profile=kahns.

Cost is $100 per person; lunch and Dr. Kahn’s book (Towards Inclusion of All Learners through Science Teacher Education) are included.
